About the role
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be part of a team pioneering the future of everyday care and health at Samsung — from food and nutrition to wellness, connected home, and proactive care. You’ll work on complex, high-impact initiatives, delivering polished, evidence-based designs that drive meaningful behavior change. You’ll influence multiple product surfaces and collaborate with cross-functional partners to connect Samsung’s technology, services, and marketplaces into seamless, joyful, and measurable everyday experiences.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design, product management, and engineering teams to frame user needs and behaviors, define optimized user flows, and refine designs before launch.
- Shape and communicate the user experience vision for projects across health, care, food and nutrition, and connected home. Work on initiatives from start to finish, participating in design sprints, content mapping, sketching, wireframing, and prototyping at both high and low fidelity.
- Leverage insights from user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and inform product design.
- Drive customer focus by collaborating on user research. Stay close to insights and data to understand the impact of the team’s work and help make informed design decisions.
- Use an agile, iterative design approach in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to pivots, shifting priorities, and evolving timelines while keeping a user-centered lens.
- Apply systems thinking to contribute to the evolution of our design system and visual language, ensuring cohesive user experiences aligned with global best practices and Samsung One UI principles.
Qualifications - What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end iterative design process, including personas, journey mapping, content strategy, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Experience applying user-centered design processes and best practices while working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to craft beautiful, useful, and usable experiences across web and/or mobile platforms.
- Strong skills in visual design, interaction, and product design.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to explain the rationale behind design decisions to PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in collaborating on and interpreting user research and customer insights.
- Familiarity with a data-informed approach to design — experience using tools like Google Analytics, MixPanel, or Amplitude is a plus.
- Happy to work flexibly across time zones and flourish in a distributed environment (our team is located between West Coast USA (GMT-8) and Korea (GMT+8)).
- A passion for food, cooking, and health and wellness.
- Experience designing consumer software or apps in health, nutrition, or related domains.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a design field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Design role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, After Effects, etc.
- Portfolio showcasing examples of your work (including process such as research, ideation, and Figma files).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Location

Work from anywhere with flexibility, though overlap with GMT time zones is ideal.
